We offer the complete architectural design and planning solution for your extension or home alterations. We have many years experience in the industry and unlike the majority of Architects and Designers we have hands on experience of building, which will ultimately save you money as we design with "build it" in mind. We are affilate members of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and adhere to their code of practise. Architectural Technology is a creative and innovative design discipline which integrates architecture, science, technology and engineering.

do i need planning?

Some extensions and alterations to your property can be built under Permitted Development. We always recomend getting a certificate of lawfulness, trying to sell, get insurance etc on buildings which has not got the correct certification is difficult.
You are probably keen to get on with your project but in our experience permitted development is restrictive, and for the sake of a few weeks why not get exactly what you want. You can use the time to great effect by planning the build, which will ultimately make your project run more smoothly.

How much will it cosT?

We offer fixed price quotations for your extension. Each project is different but as a general guide you will be looking at:

• Single Storey extension approx 15sqMetres - Measure-Design-Submit £1000
• Two Storey extension approx 30sqMetres - Measure-Design-Submit £1500

Whilst cost is important and we endeavour to be highly competitive, in our opinion getting the design and planning correct is paramount to achieving a succesful project, it is not the time to save a few pounds with an on-line service.
Your ideas with our experience will deliver you your project correctly.

BUILDING COSTS
The costs associated with building can vary massively. We know sub-contactors and main contractors we can put you in touch with who build to NHBC standard.
Your extension is likely to cost you:

• Self Managed Sub-Contractors approx £2500/SqMeter + Cost of fittings (Kitchen, Bifolds etc)
• Fully Managed Main Contractor £3200/SqMeter + Cost of fittings (Kitchen, Bifolds etc)
